Experience the thrill of truffle hunting with a local expert and his trained dog. After the hunt, enjoy a delicious meal featuring your freshly foraged truffles.

• Explore the picturesque hilltop towns of Gubbio, Montefalco & Orvieto. Discover their secrets in their medieval alleys, underground labyrinths and caverns filled with history.

• Olive Oil Tasting: Savor the taste of "olio novello," freshly pressed olive oil, only available at this time of year, that captures the essence of Umbria’s fertile lands. Learn about the olive oil production process and see for yourself why Umbrian olive oil is so highly prized in Italy.

• The Etruscan Civilization: The ancient Etruscans had a thriving, advanced culture in Central Italy before the Roman Empire. Their cities, tunnels, ruins and beautiful artifacts are found in abundance in Southern Umbria and Northern Lazio and we will see some of their finest examples, including the famous seaside tombs of Tarquinia.

• Visits to two diverse wineries specializing indigenous grape varietals.
